proud to present An Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology in accordance with
the guidelines and criteria of the Natural Therapies Coach Workshops (NTCW) and
the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB).
The Objective of this Course is to provide a simple and concise basic
Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology Course to wellness specialists and
coaches.
Required Course: This is a required course for those that
are working toward certification as a SomaEnergetics Sound Therapy Coach. This
course can count as the A&P requirement for any certification through the NTCB.
The Course Contains 12 units. Each Unit contains an
Introductory Section, Primary Section and a Unit Review Section. Total of 30
CEU's will be awarded upon
completion.

· Unit Two: Cells, Tissues and Membranes
· Unit Three: Skeletal System
· Unit Four: Muscular System
· Unit Five: Nervous System
· Unit Six: Endocrine System
· Unit Seven: Cardiovascular System
· Unit Eight: Lymphatic System
· Unit Nine: Respiratory System
· Unit Ten: Digestive System
· Unit Eleven: Urinary System
· Unit Twelve: Reproductive System
The Course Format is a self-paced, independent course of
study. An internet link/s to all 12 Units of the course will be provided to the
student at the time of paid enrollment. Printed copies of the material will not
be provided. Read and adhere to the Terms of Use at the websites provided.
You will be awarded 24 CE's for your personal study of the
materials.
Once Per Quarter (4 times) during a calendar year a
Tele-Conference/Webinar will be offered to students as part of the enrollment
fee. Attendance to one of these is required prior to taking the course test.
This will be approximately 5 hours in length, will be a review of the essential
material that is testable and provide any clarification needed. The
quarterly Tele-Conference/Webinar reviews for 2012 will be March 17, June 23,
September 15 and December 8 from
10:00am to 3:00pm. The dates and times subject to change. There is a 3
participant minimum for a Tele-Conference/Webinar to occur. Otherwise you will
be referred to the next session on the calendar. You will be
awarded 5 CE's for your participation in this review.
The Instructor is Randall Loop, LMT, MLC,
LSH. He has been a health/wellness professional for over 20 years. Randall is
licensed by the State of Ohio Medical Board as Massage Therapist. He’s also a
Master Life Coach, SomaEnergetics Licensed Spiritual Healer. He has served on
the boards of Simply Living and The Ohio AIDS Coalition (OAC), both Ohio based
non-profits. He received the OAC Spirit of Healing Award in 2006 and the
Columbus Ohio Peoples Health Practitioner of the Year Award in 1996.
The Course Exam
will contain 4 or more questions specifically taken from each of the 12 Units
Review Sections, plus one or more questions taken at random from the Primary
Section. There will be a total of 60-75 questions covering all 12 Units. Once
the candidate has completed the Tele-Conference/Webinar a web-link, username and
password to the Online Exam will be provided. Once the Exam has been completed
with a passing score of at least 70% a Certificate of Completion will be
provided by SSHLB. You will be awarded 1 CE for taking the Exam.
The Credit Hours/CE's
breakdown
is as follows. 24 CE's for personal study, 5 CE's for the
Tele-Conference/Webinar Review and 1 CE for the Exam. Total CE's 30.
The Course Fee is $149.00 and is payable by Credit/Debit Cards only
paid to SSHLB. You may take
the course, Tele-Conference/Webinar and the test one
time after paying this fee. If
you do not pass the course test the
first time you are permitted to retake the entire course and the course test
until you pass at an additional fee of $75.00 per
time.
